Can it be true? Is the cause of Robin Wright Penn's angry divorce to Sean Penn, Natalie Portman?

Even more interesting is the broad age difference between the Sean Penn (48) and Natalie Portman (27) -- 21 years apart. Star Magazine has the couple together as early as March 17th at LA's Sunset Tower Hotel's Tower Bar. Other sources peg that same meeting with some 'making out". Meanwhile her PR crew is using the 'denial' card in response. Let's assume they are together...

What do they have in common beyond acting? Sex? A source is quoted, "She (Natalie) stimulates him (Sean) in ways no other person has, mentally or professionally. There's a lot more there with Natalie than any of the other girls Sean's been with." I mean what will they talk about? Her favorite musical tastes? The friends they have and activities they both do must be an obstacle as well. Natalie is a known as a great actress in her generation and so has Penn, but to throw her into a family situation abruptly will inevitably become a burden to their relationship. Sean will have a heavy price to pay for his divorce, he better hope he stays with Natalie or he can then ask himself if parting with his dedicated wife, family and money was worth it.

The issue of age difference between lovers is one I could discuss at length. With so many divorces now taking place with 30 something and 40 something aged suitors in the dating pool, we even see novels and films out now like FLIRTING WITH FORTY, where a late thirties divorcee meets and dates a young twenty something hunk. Does age matter?

I have to wonder if they both thought this out before they decided to break up a family. How long will it last? How long do you think they have? I'd be interested to read any comments on either Portman and Penn, or the issue of age difference in dating.
